Category: Day trip, available directly from Reykjavik in Iceland.
This is our all time bestseller! The Hvítá river is absolutely beautiful and a fun river about an hour from Reykjavík. For over 20 years the RiverFun rafting trip has been Iceland´s most popular adventure activity. Having a perfect mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids, rafting the Hvítá (pronounced: Kveetau) is guaranteed to leave you with fond memories for life. We raft a seven kilometer stretch of the river and in Brúarhlöð canyon the rafters who want some extra action get to jump from a cliff into the river.
No one who visits Iceland should leave without experiencing the power that its rivers contain and enjoy the scenic canyons of Brúarhlöð in Hvítá. Not to mention going swimming in a glacial river in Iceland!!
