White water canoeing is an brilliant activity if you are seeking some challenging adventure out in the Icelandic nature. The canoes are inflated and selfbailing, meaning that they do not fill with water and are easy to maneuver. Two or three people sit together in the canoe and steer it down the river under careful wacth of a guide in a raft. We paddle down the Hvítá river which has an ideally balanced mix of calming canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. We travel for 7 kilometers and at one point participants get to jump from a cliff into the river and get some extra action if they want.
We only recommend this trip to those looking for a little more action and are in good physical condition.
The RiverRide is an exciting action trip, specially for those with some experience in rafting.

Everyday from Reykjavík at 8:30-9:00 and 12:00-12:30. If you have your own car then you can easily drive to the base camp and meet us for your trip at 10:00 or 14:00.
